For the past 4 months I have been just full of aches and pains. I have a slight tear in my achilles tendon..grrrr This after healing my shin splints and of course the never ending arthritic knee pain. So, I haven't been able to do as much walking and exercising which in return gave me permission, in the NON-DIETING part of my brain, to not eat as healthy either. Yes, I am still trying to get to the mind set that I'm changing my life style, not dieting. Just haven't gotten there yet. My doc keeps telling me to get in a pool and swim. Get the pressure off my joints. We don't have a pool. We've talked about putting one in. But no, I wouldn't be able to use it during the winter. Sooooo I made a HUGE step for me. I joined Gold's Gym. Not so much for the work out equipment(I go to CURVES), although I may get on the treadmill eventually, but to get in the pool. I love to swim and this way I can swim year round. I go tomorrow for the first time. I'm excited. I am back to eating healthy and making sure I track what I eat. Back on track and moving forward.
