Faithful and True Lord

Wednesday, September 07, 2011

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. Rev 19:11

You know when I read this passage, it lifts up my spirit in a mighty way. I know this is talking about when our Lord comes down when Heaven to do battle with His enemies at His second coming, but I also see this as Jesus coming down for me to help me when I am going through my trials and tribulations. And it also reenforces God's Word to me because we are told to wear the Armor of God so that we can stand against the enemy when he attacks us, but when we can't stand, then Christ comes down and shows us that He is faithful and true by standing before us and making war with our enemy! And He does it in righteousness! That is why it is so important for us to walk in righteousness, so that we can hold our head up high when we call on Christ to help us.

Jesus Christ is the Word of God and we all do that the Word is faithful and true so that means Jesus is faithful and true and and when we know His promises (by studying the Word) we can call upon Him in confidence and know that He will never let us down.

Jesus comes to us through the Holy Spirit, but one day soon, He will come from Heaven for His church, but until then, continue to read your Word and learn His promises and see why He will always be faithful and true to His children!
Thank you for reading and I pray this has been a blessing to you
In Jesus Name

The enemy will always try to obstruct our vision when we are going through tough times, but by staying in the Word of God we can remove those blinders and see His magnificent light.

"God will never leave you, nor forsake you." I love that passage. I know God will answer my prayers in his own way and in such a way that is will benefit me. God is truly here. You have to know how to "see" and "feel" him
God Bless You!! emoticon
