Today's Fitness
I did 65 minutes of fitness yesterday (Sept. 5)

Today's Highlights
Ok, I'm back! Let's try this again. I can't remember if I told everyone, but I had a neck injury earlier this summer that I still hadn't recovered from that was zapping my energy so I fell off from blogging. But, I think I'm about back to normal and ready to go.

I figured Labor Day was as good a day as any to start another streak!

Yesterday's highlight was swimming with the boys in the pool again. They still like it when I let them ride on my back while swimming a few laps.

How was your day? Did you get at least 10 minutes of fitness? What's your highlight?

SparkCheers!

I too hope you're feeling better and heal completely. I had a slow down but I'm getting back into the swing of things. My goal is 15,000 steps a day.

I'm loving this idea...I'm taking my granddaughter for a long walk in the park today and doing some of Nicole's ball videos for my workout today...I've been cooped up with one of my kids in the hospital all week and I need to move...

So glad you're feeling better! Injuries are a set-back to working out, for sure!

I did 65 minutes on the treadmill and 30 minutes weights for upper body, and abs.

Hope you are well now--take care though--things can resurface. I did a 60 min. "yoga" workout on Tues. Could hardly walk on Wed.--thighs so sore, but thought I better keep going so did a 75 min dog walk Wed. Went again Thurs for another 60 min of "yoga". Feel better today. Maybe 60 min of p;ar 3 golf today.
I am so excited to be able to walk. Hasn't helped my weight much but I am mobile--was in a wheel chair 2 years ago and told by neurosurgeon that I would only get worse and never walk again. emoticon

I hadn't heard about your neck injury; those are painful and take a long time to recover from. I hope you are feeling much better now. Swimming is great exercise, but I wonder about the boys on your back while recovering from a so recent neck injury.

Have a great weekend!

Yes I did, I spent 30 minutes cleaning up my garden!

I'm glad you are starting this again as the last one got me back to the gym, re-energised my virtual 'Walk across America', and helped me loose several pounds!

All sorts of things conspired against me this AM. Instead of my normal 65 minute walk I only got in 20 minutes (discovered that I was the one who had to wait for some appliances to be delivered!) But I'm going out at noon to make up the missing time. And that's because of good old SparkPeople helping me stay accountable to ME!

Neck injuries are never fun. Ask Peyton Manning. Missing first game ever since 98. Don't over work it til you and doc are sure.....

Glad your getting better though.

I did 120 min yesterday. Mostly walking but most on the bike. Just like old times.

Glad you are better. Just 15 minutes of walking yesterday. I did something to my foot and that was hard. Then I had a goat land on it and this morning a dog jumped on it. I'm thinking I can work with resistence bands from the couch with my foot propped up.

You didn't give up - neither will I!
