Happiness--Day 1

As I go through all kinds of feelings and experiences in my journey through life -- delight, surprise, chagrin, dismay -- I hold this question as a guiding light: "What do I really need right now to be happy?" What I come to over and over again is that only qualities as vast and deep as love, connection and kindness will really make me happy in any sort of enduring way."

I'm on a quest to find happiness. Right now, what I really need is to be happy is my health. For the next week I am going to focus on drinking my water daily, staying within my calorie range, and getting some kind of physical movement for at least 30 minutes every day. (Aren't these some of the Spark principles?) Hopefully, after doing this for a week, I will feel just a smidge stronger, a smidge healthier, and a smidge happier.

    We need it all in balance, don't we? Good luck, If you check out my blog, you will see that I have been on track with exercise and diet for 5 days now... today I was even strong enough to avoid emotional eating..... Happiness, a distant dream, but a worthy goal..... have some serious stuff to deal with first.... but the exercise really does help, in more ways than one...You Can do it!!
