Should I Do the Fall Challenge???

I was just thinking that maybe I am a drag to the A Team since I did not lose the 5% that is our goal. Just doing the challenge does keep me better focused and really striving to get as much exercise as possible.
Then I have read of SP members who have been on plateaus for 4 to 6 months, but finally start losing again. So I have tried to walk a little faster, soon hope to walk a little farther, get some other exercises worked in, and make that stationary bike go faster yet.
Guess I had better check to see if I am signed up for the next challenge!

    You better sign up!!! lol I have been stuck at the same weight for over two weeks now. It awesome being part of a team, having people to cheer you on and make you realize you can do it! You are an important part of the A Team and we need you! Not everyone loses, I have yet to lose 5% for any of the challenges I have participated in.

    Yes! do the Challenge! I didn't lose nearly as much as I wanted to lose but I love the community of the group. It helps keep me focused, even when I feel like I'm not up to the challenge. I'll be looking for you on the A Team! emoticon

    Holy moly, no WAY you're a drag to the team!! I've barely lost anything this challenge, but I've had a blast. Honestly, I think the 5% is a good way to structure the team, but it's the least of my concerns. I'm way more interested in what happens along the way. This team keeps me accountable, engaged and supported, way more than if I tried to go it alone. I'll be looking for you in the fall challenge.

    Of course you should do the Fall Challenge! To me the challenge is more about supporting each other and helping each other reach our personal goals, not about if we actually win or not!

    you go girl...!!! Just keep going it eventually falls off lol.. remember we are building muscles :) I have to remind myself everytime I step on the thing LOL...I waiting for my big drop it should be coming soon... Fingers crossed and a few zumba classes thrown in there..... We can do it!!!

    Carol, I quit doing the challenge, but only because for ME, it's one more step I gotta do during the day, and sometimes, it's just too much! So, for ME, I do my own challenge, and that is what works for ME. I challenge myself to log what I eat and do and do it no matter what. When I do that, I seem to excel and be successful. Others need the challenges because they work better for them. Whatever works best for YOU and YOUR healthy journey is what you ought to do! Yes, too, I was on a plateau for nearly 8 months, and have finally broken it, and I wasn't doing anything special or different to break it, it just finally happened!     I don't always lose much during a challenge - but I often think - gack, what if I HADN'T done a challenge? Everyone has something going on, and lots of us are struggling - don't worry about the rest of your team, they are just thrilled to have you!

    You are not a drag, especially when you consider how much you encourage the rest of the team. I think that if you enjoy it and find it motivating, you should definitely do it again!

    Of course you should sign up for the challenge! I have not lost a single pound during this challenge, but it is keeping me accountable for my choices and that is a good enogh reason to keep going.

Whether our team does well in the challenge or not is NOT the point. The point is to get people to try harder, to pay attention, to make some small changes to their habits.

    Yes, you should do the Fall Challenge!!! You are making progress, and that is what it is all about. I wish I could have lost more as well, but truly the important thing is building those healthy habits to ensure long term success. I am on another team, but I am here cheering you on.
