My usual challenge...

We are going out to dinner tonight and that is a constant challenge for me. I KNOW what are the right choices, but I always feel deprived with the dry grilled chicken or boring fish items. It seems that going out is an expense and why should I eat what I don't really want?
Fried foods don't tempt me. It is the rich sauces I desire. If it says cream somewhere in the menu, I must have it!
I had such a successful first week back. I am giving myself this pep talk now! I can pick something healthy AND delicious!

    I had a half of a grilled chicken wrap. No mayo, (I hate that stuff) and a cup of bean soup. For appetizer, my daughters and I ate hummus instead of onion rings, like the boys ate! Very satisfying and no weight gain the next day!!!!
