So Glad It's Friday!

Good Morning all! How are ya? It's Friday and a long weekend for me, so no complaints!

First, I would like to welcome back JCSTELLA! I'm thrilled she is back with a vengeance! Go ahead and add her as a friend and show some support!

Insane week at work this week, I saw so many patients and I was on my feet A LOT. I'm glad it's over!

Eating has been well, not much of an appetite, but I'm still at 179.6. I really need to focus on getting some veggies in my diet.

Water intake is awesome. I'm peeing like crazy and my skin looks good.

Half marathon training is going well. I missed one run this week b/c I was too damn lazy. I've got 5 miles up for tomorrow morning with 1:2 intervals (1 running, 2 walking). I'm been trying to work on my upper body strength since I dropped that bag from the overhead bin on the plane and it hit a guy on top of the head--yikes!

Not sure what we have on tap for the weekend. We have a party on Sunday and that's about it. I'm hoping my husband and I can get some organizing done, we'll see.

    Hi, Jen! You sound like you're doing really well overall and balancing all the different things in life. Great job! Sometimes, even when the scale isn't moving, the healthy choices are adding up in other ways. emoticon emoticon

    Well I've only gotten in 3 training runs over the past week-and-a-half for the half-marathon I would LIKE to do (Dallas White Rock 12/04), and I'm thrilled to death to report NO FOOT PAIN!

I credit the shoes my son picked out for me, & my "foot- flexing" exercises...

    Thanks for the shout out :) I missed being on here, and I figured it will help you and I keep up with eachother too!! It sounds like you have a really good thing going right now, and you should be super excited! I am trying to work my mileage up as well, but decided to stay in the 6 mile range for now. I am impressed that you are going for another half marathon--I know you will do great! See you on Sunday!!

    Now that is a great reason to start upper body ST! That is quite the visual when you dropped it on his head. Oops!!
