Eating enough veggies is rarely my problem. Loading up my salad with a multitude of colorful veggies and even fruits sounds and tastes so yummy. Let's have yellow and red peppers, garden lettuce, mushrooms, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers. Let's even toss in a few craisens. Now, let's enter that in our nutrition tracker...OMG! My salad has carbs! Who'd have thought!? OK. Back out the craisens. That will help some. Swiss chard has 11 carbs in a cup? That cannot be!
This nutrition tracking is tricky business. We all need to be "nutritionalists." We also need to learn about our own bodies and what works best for our own weight loss and healthful eating.
Interesting challenge, isn't it?
