Ugh... yesterday was awful! I was completely exhausted and slept until 10:30, I never do that! When I finally got up yesterday morning, I had a smoothie and some scrambled egg whites for breakfast. I took my "pill" with breakfast like I normally do, and went about my day. I am off from work this week, so it's just me in the house. I read my book and waited for the boys to get home from school. When they finally got home, I realized that I hadn't eaten any lunch. So I made myself a salad of tomato, cucumber, scallions, reduced fat feta cheese and an all natural dressing. I ate my lunch while the boys went on and on about their first day of school. I started to get a headache, and it was one of those headaches that will turn into a migraine if you don't take care of it right away, so I took two ibuprofen. Well, then my stomach started to hurt. I have a sensitive stomach to medicine, so if I don't take it on a full stomach, I get sick. BUT, I had just eaten my lunch so I figured I would be fine. My head was hurting so bad and my stomach was now hurting, I laid down to take a nap, desperately hoping that sleep would subside my headache. Within a half an hour or so, my lunch repeated on me and I found myself sick on the bathroom floor.
I have NO idea what happened or why I got so sick. My husband got me a sub to eat for dinner, just plain turkey on a sub roll. He figured I should at least eat the bread to settle my stomach. I felt a little better after I got sick, but my stomach hurt all night. I woke up this morning with a queasy stomach, so I had some toast with all natural peanut butter and banana. I am hoping that it will settle my stomach and I won't get sick again. It is hard to drink water, even though I am trying. My throat is burning from getting sick.
Does anyone have an opinion as to whether or not I count my lunch yesterday? I know its gross, but if it didn't digest, then what happens?
