So, I got this back from the performing arts department:
"Thank you for your interest and interview for the Events Usher position in the Arts & Humanities office. Your resume and skillset are impressive. At this time, the position has been filled. Due to your strong interview, I have your resume on file and will contact you, should another position with our department become available. "
Hmm...right. Oh well, I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
I had another job interview yesterday with the physics department, and I'm waiting to hear back from that one. I have a good feeling about it, but then again, I had a good feeling about the position with the performing arts department. So if that doesn't work out either, I have two more interviews on Wednesday, one with the School of Management career center, and one with the president's office. I also have someone I've been playing voice-mail tag with from environmental services.
Hopefully, by the end of the week I'll have a job. I'm not sure what I'll do if I don't. Keep looking, I guess, but since work study jobs for the semester are supposed to start on September 1st, which is Thursday, I'm not sure how much point there is in looking after that. I already applied for twenty different positions, which included everything I was even remotely qualified for, and I don't know if after this point any new positions would be listed.
