I could kick myself... Restart AGAIN.

SO after my last blog entry I fell off the wagon. My husband came "home" so things were kinda crazy. We were apartment searching, dealing with financial issues, trying to spend every moment together, and job hunting. I fell completely off the wagon. I gained back all the weight I lost and then some! It sucks! One plus is that I have gotten to the Dr. since my last post. I started getting really bad headaches in June. After 2 ER visits in a week, I finally got a dr appointment and had my synthroid doubled. My TSH level was 59.4! They believe this may be the problem with the headaches but I doubt it. I have been on the higher dose for 6 weeks now and the headaches are still bad... But at least I am now getting the right medication.


Here is to hoping this is my last restart and I stay on track!!

    Wow! That was a strong pep talk by SKYWATCHER -- one I guess we could all take to heart.

I do hope you find relief from your headaches soon -- have you told your doctor the meds haven't helped so far? Keep bugging him, the squeeky wheel gets the oil (in this case maybe the right meds).

    Thanks Skywatcherrs. I think that is one of my main issues. I need to change my way of thinking or I will never follow through with things. This is a need. A need to get my life back and so I will lose this weight. Not maybe or hope to, I will.

    No hoping! Make it so! Instead of including wishy-washy words like "maybe" and "hopefully" when you talk about your goal, use absolute words like "will" and "definitely". The way you talk to yourself matters. Self-talk is a huge help or a huge hindrance when you're out to achieve something, especially fat loss.

You must believe 100% that you are going to be successful. Make it happen! Do not leave room for excuses and quitting by using wishy-washy language.

Commit! Go all-in! You can make this happen. There's no maybe about it. You are able. The question, rather, is WILL you make it happen? Only two answers: yes, or no. You decide.
