I first came to this site in January 2010. I was doing SO GOOD until Feb with the historic snow storm that shut the city down for a week. I never recovered. I'm still on BP pills and I'm about 15 lbs. heavier. NOT GOOD! I feel heavy, stuffed and bloated most of the time. I realize I use food as a source of comfort. I sometimes can't believe how my mood changes once I get some food. And that's usually when I REALLY stuff myself. So, here I am, Aug 2011 trying to start this thing all over again. My plan is to "eat right" and exercise at least 3 times a week to start. I've got some bank business to handle today but I plan to cut my grass this evening so that should give me a good 30 minutes. I need to bring my tennis shoes and start walking at lunch again. Alone! LOL

    Welcome back! You may have gotten "sidetracked" - but not "derailed"!! Been there, done that! Good for you to plan on cutting the grass and putting it in writing. Writing it down keeps me accountable! You might try to be more specific in your "at least 3 days a week" plan. That may help as well.

    Good for you! Baby steps, that what it takes. Just keep adding to it and you'll be feeling so much better soon. Some tips for the bloating...I started by cutting out all soda and breads. It's amazing how much just those two things will bloat you! Good luck on you journey and remember your not alone! We are all here with you!
