Thanks Everyone

Sunday, August 28, 2011

I really appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers during the storm, Irene. We did flood but it could have been worst. We could have been inside when the tree fell on the side of the house.

Dealing with Flood insurance went pretty smoothly. We called the people who dried us out the last time and they came right out and went to work. They should have the fans and dehumidifier up and running after they finish removing my hard wood floors, tonight. It should take about 5 days for it to dry out before anything else can be done. They also restore so we are going to have them to do the whole job this time.

Tomorrow the Homeowners insurance adjuster will come out and assess the damage from the wind; shingles in the yard and the tree leaning on the house. So we will stay upstairs tonight but will most likely go to a hotel tomorrow.

All and all we know that we are blessed because we are safe and we are aware that it could have been much worst.

Thanks again everyone and please continue to pray for those who have been affected by this storm.

Sounds like you are staying sane in the midst of the storm. I'm glad no one was hurt and that damages are manageable.

It's sounds like it is under control. I hope that it continues to go smoothly for you and your family and the renovations are speedy.
