I ate 900 Calories in one meal! BIG, Stupid, MIstake!!!!

Sunday, August 28, 2011

I was doing so well eating within my caloric guide, until I went to Fizoli's last week and forgot to check meal calories before going to the restaurant. I was shocked when I found out the chicken, broccoli pasta bake was 900 Calories. I ended up eating 2000 Calories instead of my 1500 calorie goal that day.

OUCH!, but lesson learned.

I try to check the menus before going out, but you know that too so it blew up -- get back on and you'll be fine!

The very first day I tracked food on the Spark, I think I came in around 3900 calories. Big day eating out. Top end of maintence was 2500 and some, and top end of weight loss for me is 2220. So that was calories over weight loss worth a half pound of fat, right there.

We've all done it. The important thing is, getting back into the groove and not *repeatedly* making the same mistakes. As GETSTRONGRRR says, checking menus ahead of time can help.

Always a slippery slope....chock it up to experience.

I try downloading menus before going out, so that I know exactly what to get and what not to get.

    Good luck!
