Part of my friend Maggie's birthday celebration was a 5k run this morning. I began my day quite early to do 25 minutes of elliptical training, because my cardio goal is 50 minutes a day and I didn't think the run would take that long. Afterwards I created a concoction (I might do it again) with frozen blueberries, plain oikos, oats and flaxseed sprinkled with a packet of truvia and off I went to meet up with the Maggies. Great weather not too hot nice cool breeze blowing. 30 minutes and 4 seconds later I was done. I've never run an entire 3.1 miles and although I must admit I did walk 1 minute this is the most I've run in a whole stretch. I feel great, don't feel like I'm going to die AT ALL. Back home, some abs, crunches, planks and then brunch with husband and off to enjoy the rest of the day. I wish for you a fantabulous day!!!!
