Had a Good Day

Saturday, August 27, 2011

Yesterday was a good day. My hubby and I went to the VA clinic and got a lot accomplished. He had blood work done, saw 2 Drs. got his hospital bed ordered had xrays done and got a consult for a poditrist and an open MRI. Now i have to get the bedroom ready for the bed and buy a twin bed for me. He already has the over bed table. I did day 2 of week 1 training for the virtual 5k walk, plus walked an additional 2 miles at the clinic.

Praying for those in Irene's path. Keep safe and have a great weekend.

I signed up for the 5K training also, but signed up to only do a mile walk because I didn't think I could walk a mile. But I did yesterday on my day two of training. We can help each other along on our training. God bless you. Ravyna

Take every day as a new challenge my friend. I decided a long time ago to accept what ever the Lord decided to give me as a challenge and know that I can reach new heights every day as long as I have faith and believe in God.

If I did not have new and exciting challenges what a dull life I would live. My dear Mother used to tell me that idle hands were the devils workshop. Well I know for a fact the Lord has really made sure through the years that I have had enough to keep my hands busy!

You my friend, have no idle hands. Keep your faith and keep up the fantastic work.

    God bless you,
    Barbara
