I am sorry folks that I haven't blogged in quite some time. I am doing well. I just had a follow up at the doctor's and I am down 60lbs. I want to get off another 60lbs. by my next appointment which will be 6 months post op.
I am still going to the gym....most days. I have had some days where I didn't get off the couch...why? I have no idea. I stay on the computer on this site and others and find that the time just passes quickly.
I love exercising but if I don't get out of the house it sometimes doesn't happen. I have started taking more Zumba classes....and today I started taking a STRONG class which is a weight lifting class with hand weights. I enjoy taking the aqua classes but I think that I am not getting enough of a workout with them. I need to strength train to build muscle...which will help with metabolism.
I am proud of my weight loss so far but I have not been the best eater....I have not always made the best choices and therefore I have help up my weightloss. I feel that I am working too hard at exercising that I shouldn't sabotage myself. I want to be at my goal weight by my birthday....Nov 24th...Thanksgiving Day!
I have also signed up for the Virtual 5K challenge and did my first training today. I have never run before and I am doing the rookie training. I did it and it felt great! I will have to keep it up!
