It's been a crazy August, and although it was fun, I am kind of glad it is over. Before I left for my trip, I was down to 202 pounds, losing 7 in two weeks. I don't know what I weigh now, because of TOM, and am usually carrying extra water weight until three days after it is gone.
I was in Tucson last week, and although I got a lot of exercise, it was very difficult to find healthy food in any of the places we ate all week. The only exception, is everyday for breakfast we had fresh fruit and an English Muffin. I used the hotel exercise room with it's awesome treadmills, and made good use of the paths and steps (we were on the fourth floor) all over the hotel and walked a lot. Sooo....when I came home from Tucson late Saturday night, I switched to my current diet of semi healthy, semi junk for lack of a better term, while trying to slowly cut the junk back out of my diet. Unfortunately, I started a new and crazy schedule and my exercise has fallen to the side.
I started massage school on Monday afternoon and it is about six hours in a row of classes, three days a week. I'm not getting off the exercise wagon, but I needed to take this week to adjust to the new school schedule. I haven't been a student for a LONG time, so it has taken some getting used to. I am planning to hit the treadmill and weights tonight.
So that was my August--getting ready for classes before my trip, Tucson, school. It's been crazy. Looking at a pretty crazy September, too, but it will calm down a bit, hopefully.
