A brand new goal

I just read this article on SP about giving yourself a vacation as a reward for meeting a goal. I love this idea! I especially love it cause I'm already planning a mini-vacay and I like that I can attach a mini-goal to go along with it. If I don't reach my goal, does that mean I can't take the vacation? I hope not. I mean, I make the rules right? I say that as long as I make *some* progress then I can take the vacation. That's a good compromise.
OK, so here is the goal: Right now I'm hovering around 220 and have been for a while. If I can lose just five pounds by October 1 that would be phenomenal. That means one pound a week. It's doable. I haven't been able to successfully do that yet but that's what this goal is for. In order to achieve this goal, I will do cardio 4-5 times a week and ST 3 times a week. ST is my nemesis. I hate doing it. I need to do both in order to meet this goal though. Also, I want to take at least one class a week at the gym. I still really want to try the Slim & Strong class at my gym. Why can't I wake up early enough to get there? I need to stop with the excuses and just DO IT!
When (not if) I meet this goal, I will take a girls' trip down to Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC during the Columbus Day weekend (that is, if I have Monday off). There's a really great reason why I want to go down there. It may or may not have to do with a boy. I will neither confirm nor deny this information. Anyway, wish me luck!
Addendum: I was given a fantastic suggestion from CHEETARA79 that I should make this about meeting my fitness goals and not the weight loss. The weight loss would be a bonus. =)
