So I took a break in weight loss for a bit again, but it was more for sake of eating what I wanted, going out to Dinosaur BBQ, drinking with some friends on a boat cruise, and some late dinners since the 19th (which was really only a long weekend Fri-Mon). Sometimes it's good to take a break- catch up with life and not live by the waist of your pants.
So 3 days ago I started my Greek Yogurt & Salad diet again! I have a problem - I can't get enough of either ---it's so bizarre - I never crave anything...and I AM NOT pregnant (okay I craved super spicy hot chili when I was pregnant, who cared that it was also 80 degrees out...)
And I am eating - not exercising like a mad woman, just a simple after dinner walk with the dogs...drinking boat loads of my water again (and back to my morning 1 litre)...come to think of it...I wasn't drinking as much water over the weekend...and I did feel dehydrated!
On a side note on water...husband is now starting the morning with a litre of water too. He said to me this week - the morning litre may not help me lose weight but I just started with cold water - you told me room temperature - how do I get it to that?....
(...ummm fill your water bottle up before bed, it'll be room temp in the morining...duh)...BUT I feel so much better like it is detox in the morning.
So back to me...Progress this week: Tuesday I was at 199 ( +1.2 gain over the weekend binge -not great, but totally respectable considering my consumption), Wednesday 197.6, Thursday 196.8, and this morning 195.4!!! YEAH me!!!
So my goal of 190 by 9/15 is looking like it might be attainable - I will have to see what becomes of me this weekend.
