Today I really wanted to get in the pool but the weather was off and on so I started taking all the chairs, tables, hot house, flowers and whatever off the deck. Everything was taken to the shed or put behind the big bushes next to the deck. So they where on the west side of the deck and under big bushes. Since all the wind will be on the east side everything was taken from that side of the pool. My daughter and DGD came after work and school to help me. I had just finished taking the hot house down and put it in the shed. I may have 1 more year with it and then I might get another one. It is a 7' by 7' it is to collapse but I can't get it to fall together like it did when I bought it and it is too big to fight with.

I am ready for the hurricane and the thunderstorm dropped about 4 , 10's of rain. My DGD will be staying with me and I will pick her up tomorrow after school and she will go home Sunday or Monday. I assume schools might be closed Monday so then she will stay and her mom will pick her up. She will be safer in my house because her home is surrounded by trees and any one can fall on the cars or home. Their home is really old and it would not take much to destroy it.
Just hope none of that happens but it doesn't look good. If it does what they think we are going to be right in the middle of it.

I am going to make chicken, potato salad, cole slaw, devil eggs, and I will have extra chicken to make chicken salad. I have plenty of fruits, fresh veggies, juices and water to keep us going. I am going to put water in the tub in case the electric goes off.

Going to do some more walking so I can get my 10,000 steps in. Have a good Friday and I hope you are all safe. God bless and keep you safe.

Catch you tomorrow and see what goes.

Smile Joyce

Sounds like you know what to do when a hurricane threatens. My sister is marginally ready, but she is waiting until it hits NC. Says in the past when they come up like that, it bounces off the Cape and then heads further East. This storm is very big. I am not sure she is right about this. Please be safe. emoticon
