To create a habit....

Ok, so this morning I woke up and I was sore.....and SO didn't want to go to the gym. But, in the spirit of fitness, health and creating good habits, I got up, I got me and the kiddo ready, dropped him off at school and then...WENT TO THE GYM! I have to say, I am proud of myself. With the school so close to the house, it would have been way easy to just turn around and come home. But I think the motivational part of myself that tells me that I need to go workout and it's good for me and I'll feel better afterwards is finally getting a much louder voice. And you know what, I worked out and felt a million times better after!

To add to my 'new year resolution' I've decided that I want to attempt my first virtual 5K here on SP. And I will run it! So I signed up this morning for the Halloween Virtual 5K and a 5K training plan! I don't know how well I'll do (as I'm still getting over my "I hate running" issues) but as long as I do it I'll be proud of myself.

Next part of my new resolutions...better sleep!!! So, off to the SP Offical Better Sleep challange!

Today, I feel GREAT! Hope all my fellow Sparkers out there do too!
