I'm stopping grains and monitoring wine to one glass (if I have one) a night.
Does this slight change to a spark eating plan sound so hard? It wasn't for three days. Last night, not a perfect moment, could have been much worse. Between gram crackers that looked too good to walk away from and the peanut butter balls (one is not enough) that proved to me I am still a work in progress I went to bed before total damage took place.
Anyway, today is a new day.
Today I tried radish hash browns. These are not bad at all. Why did I eat this? Because I like potato hash browns. Ya'll know how hard it is to not over eat white potato. BTW, white potato isn't great for arthritis and inflammation which is why I avoid them.
Farmer Market had a BIG bag of radishes for $1. I could not resist this bag. The green tops for my green smoothies alone was worth the buck. However a gallon bag of radish roots was also part of this bag. Not known to waste an opportunity, I searched Spark receipts and there it was. Radish hash browns. Now I'll grab a bunch of radishes every time I see then in the reduced buggy for my hash brown of choice. Is this as good as potato hash brown....? Come on, is carrot cake with icing as good as reduced sugar carrot muffin? But it is keeping that insulin trigger from working overtime..and if that translates to a smaller size, I'm going for it.
Got to run. Farmer Market might have another bag of radishes in the reduced buggy!
