I am so impressed with the community here. There is such a feeling of love and caring that is not evident in so many settings. I joined Sparkpeople in August of 2006 and have always been successful at weight loss when I am here. So why do I let it fall by the wayside and gain weight back?

Since 2006 I am only down in weight 17 lbs, but I have lost and gained many more. I shudder to think where I would be if I had not checked back in at sparkpeople at times during this time. This time I think I'll stay for the duration ... it's the only way I will ever experience total success. If I ever even hint of leaving again would someone just "scream" at me.

I look forward to reaching goal along with all of you.

    I'll be second on the list if you try to give up. But ditto about doing the same for me!

    We have all been there before, but as we mature, I think we finally realize it's more than having an eating problem. We learn that we need to deal with the emotional part as well. If we don't then we keep gaining it all back.

    Sure if you do the same for me. I do pretty good Monday thou Thursday (the days I go to work), but come the weekends. I have been gaining and loosing the same 4 pounds for about 3 to 4 months. I have been pretty good the last three weekends which I do see on the scale and its great, but I have found that SP is really helpful and gets me to do what I have to do to get healthy.
