Day 5 of Stress Busting Challenge and W2D2 of 5K Your Way Walk/Jog Program

The past 4-5 days I have not been active on the site due to going up north without internet connection. It was beautiful playing and sitting near the lake. The kids had a ton of fun. Can I just stay there?
I really did not have much stress while I was there. Nothing too demanding of my time except to make sure the kids were being fed on a timely basis and it was relatively healthy. Those that we went with have no concern about eating healthy. They don't even plan lunches because they just eat junk food and graze all day until dinner which isn't much better. I had found this out before heading up so I had grocery shopped and packed some healthy food. My kids and I ate a more rounded meal and less treats than the others.
I didn't work out as much as I had planned. I didn't want to burden the others by having to watch my kids while I went out for runs. They were helping out already while I was preparing meals and cleaning up afterwards. They had their hands full with two under age 1 and one 18 month old. I did one workout for the weekend. Back on track today or at least I hope. It is supposed to storm shortly and throughout the day and night. I am hoping to find at least a gap in the weather to go out for a walk/run.
I returned home and immediately stressed out. The laundry was not done, meal plan and grocery list not prepared, bills needed to be paid (I didn't have time before I left), and we all needed to be packed and ready for work and school the next day. My husband was working on the landscaping so instead of helping out with the kids and these chores he went to finish up. He didn't go up north because he had to work. So he was home all weekend. Overall, did want was necessary to function for Monday morning and got the kids to bed. I will not be eating super healthy this week as I did not have time to properly prepare a menu and go grocery shopping. I will be trying to at least stay within or close to my calories and not go nuts on sugar. I hope to add some workouts into the mix again as well.
Getting back into the swing of things!
