Because I teach, summers are the most relaxed time of year for me. Fall is the craziest time. My daughter went back to school last week. The college classes I teach start next week so I've been very busy getting ready for them.
I'll have to dig down really deep to keep myself on the healthy exercise and eating plan that I've been on since January. Fall has traditionally been the time for derailment. In the fall, I often stop exercising and begin to put on weight--last fall I put on more weight than ever.
So I made a New Year's resolution to exercise and eat healthy and got serious about SparkPeople. If I weren't in a SparkPeople bootcamp right now, I think I would have already begun to slip.
So right now I'm pledging to do better this fall!
