After weeks of really trying to see the scale move AND was not seeing any progress I decided to re-assess. Then, after reading a article by Dr. Mercola about fresh Orange Juice, and why it really is not fresh, I got to thinking. Is calorie in calorie out really working for me...answer...no.
With Sparks and support of the teams I've stopped gaining weight. My muscle tone is 100% better, and my size dropped by 2 sizes. But the scale has not given me a break in a very long time.
So I went back to read more about food with Dr. Mercola. firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in reading his thoughts. I took a test to see what type of foods I should live on. After reading till my eyes crossed I think I have finally realized that my body is dumping insulin every time I even think bread.
So I am following his recommendations and have dropped 3 lbs in two days. Yes, probably water weight. But then again, I didn't have to change anything except grain products. I have been eating anything I want within the plan, drinking the recommended water (same as Spark), and allowing myself a glass of wine each evening, and I feel better and have the 3 lb loss to go with it.
Maybe a new lesson has been learned, again, and again. I'm a old horse that just does not learn on first try.
