I closed down my Spark Page in June, shortly after my first year anniversary on Spark. I was getting bogged down and feeling like I needed a break. So I took one. Now I'm back.
I need to start tracking food again, seriously. I'm only up 2 pounds from when I left in June. I was walking 3 miles a day, but am changing up my routine to alternate workouts. As of now: Sunday is my choice, Monday is Wii Workout 1 (self-made routine), Tuesday is walking or exercycling, Wednesday is Wii Workout 2 (self-made), Thursday is walking or exercycling, Friday is Yoga, Saturday is walking or exercycling. That's the plan.
On a personal note: holding my breath hoping one or both of my children will be employed soon. I understand my son is mulling over some offers. My daughter had two interviews last week and has a follow up interview Monday for one of those jobs.
I just added another piano student. I'm now up to 13. Last school year I had 5. It was my first year back to piano teaching after 6 years of public school music, so it's taken time to build back up to a decent number of students.
I'm hoping to rediscover some of my old friends, if they're still around, and find some new ones.
