Wow, another month gone by

I can't believe it has been a month since my last blog. A diet is usually over in less than a month. Often, much less than that. Habits are formed or broken in a month. Many good habits we are trying to form don't last for more than a week. And, with me at least, when I am trying to break a habit, a month is quit a milestone.
And what is a pleasant surprise, I am still active on SparkPeople. A great habit has formed :-)
I haven't had diet soda for this month. I have walked almost every day. I have tracked my food every day. Thank you SparkPeople!

    I tell you what, tracking food like this is a real eye opener and a real help, isn't it? We had some friends over tonight, and John was going to get drinks for everyone. He asked if I wanted a soft drink. I told him somewhat proudly that I haven't had a soft drink since my birthday on July 6th. Your note about the soda reminded me of that. My sodas were a calorie problem though, I don't drink diet!
