After not budging for months, this morning the scale showed a 1 pound loss. That's interesting because I hadn't done anything different for food or exercise, but I've been on vacation this last week. Much less stress, and better sleeps. (Except for the one night when the cat was hiding in the linen closet and we all thought she had been eaten by a koyote but that's a different story.)

I'm fairly happy with my weight. I'm still a touch above "healthy" BMI but I know that my strength and fitness are continuing to improve. Today was a surprise but it gives me some insight "why" I'm having difficulty losing those last few pounds.

Now I'll have to think about taking that lesson back to my "real" life which still includes full-time work.

Nothing better than some good ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ emoticon
emoticon on getting stronger and healthier!

I am sometime awaken in the middle of the night by my daughter's Hamster that has developped the strength to escape from his terrarium whenever we forget to lock it... LOL

I've noticed my scale moves the wrong direction if I'm stressed and not sleeping. Regardless of caloric intake and exercise, that's how it is.
Take care and catch those zzzz's
