Still glad to be here!

Saturday, August 20, 2011

Day 291 and I'm just here to say I'm grateful for the day and for the opportunity to go to a Zumba class. It wasn't that long ago that I was stretched out on the couch all day every day, too tired to read or even watch t.v., too tired to cook meals for my family, too tired to do anything! I don't want to forget my realization then that every healthy day is a miracle!

You're so right - every healthy day is a emoticon miracle! You know what else? I think people with a grateful heart get fit faster because they value important things and are not bogged down by trivial matters. So kudos to you! emoticon

You make zumba sound superlatively fun - I've definitely GOTTA TRY IT!

P.S. Are you still doing stepaerobics?

It's so easy to take our health for granted. I'm so happy for you!

emoticon Love your positive attitude! It is a familiar feeling with me also to look back and remember all those days spent just sitting, etc. Sometimes, in the middle of a class (Zumba or Spinning) I can get tearful as I acknowledge my gratitude for finding Spark and getting off my backside!!

I am glad to see you sticking with it and still happy.
I left Spark people for a long time, but am back and am determined to make it work this time.
Health issues make it a reality, but I think I am ready this time. It is great to read all the good things.
