Strategy for tweener day and Wednesdays

Wednesday, August 17, 2011

Today my energy was g-o-o-o-n-e. We had orchestra last night, and I went from work to get sushi and have supper with a violinist friend because hubby had a meeting and daughter had supper plans (we all went to rehearsal separately!). So, it was a long day. There may be more Tuesdays like that.

After rehearsal hunger -- try to keep it simple with yogurt and honey nut cheerios (because they are pleasant to eat dry). I got this idea from a spark article on helping with sleep (dairy and oats).

Wednesday -- a big breakfast. I can start to trust my body that I won't gorge. A big breakfast will hopefully counteract the eating of garbage through the day due to low energy. This may be a good day for the b vitamin shots that are available to me.

Tweener day -- It's hubby's birthday and we had a nice meal at a good restaurant. We left feeling nice but not stuffed. I kept it to one glass of wine. Exercise didn't happen because I was too wiped. I'm trying to get to sleep before 11 pm to get going in the morning. I'm hoping to keep the eating light tomorrow because the next day is our anniversary. Another nice meal ahead.

So maybe Saturday is another high veggie high cardio day too???? Could be!

I caught myself passing the mirror and I stopped, turned to the mirror and emphatically said, "you can DO this" -- about getting the weight off. That surprised and pleased me. It's off to the pillow and tomorrow, back on that horse!

you can. and when you've thought about it in advance, meals without hubby & daughter are easier to eat healthy and well at ... i plan for the healthy things i love that they don't like (fresh sardines! bitter greens -- mustard and turnip leaf type things ...
good luck.
