I didn't get my cardio in yesterday
but I did do my quickfire lunges and a few other lower body strength moves! Plus I took the kids to the park where they ran around for an hour and I carried the baby around for that time...
Today I have contacted the gym across the road from me to check their rates...I know I have options here at home, but I have always wanted to join a gym and use different machines for different things. Plus, I could use that as an excuse to have family and friends watch the kids while I sweat it out...when its readily available and free not many people jump to offer that. Plus I would be making it more of a priority to get there since I am paying for it and its not free.
Also today I have planks to do for the quickfire...I feel the muscles throughout my body being sore now all the time...and as Jillian Michaels would say "its the fear leaving my body" and I am changing it! Its not the bad sore like you did something wrong, its that "holy cow you worked me to the core" sore and is gone within a day...than a new body part is crying
I actually love the feeling and it pushes me the next day to do the next challenge I need to accomplish.
I am hoping to get on the tread-climber or to do step ups today to reach my calorie burn, but I have some homework and really need to get that done first. So, instead of sitting in front of the computer, I am going to get moving...literally!
