Upper Body Workouts

I LOVE upper body workouts. Tomorrow, I get to work my upper body again and I CAN”T WAIT!!

Today was legs/lower body. I don’t have as much fun with legs as I do with arms. I lack variety. In part, it is because I have a restriction on deep squats. I discovered by MRI that I wore out my patellofemoral cartilage. There’s no getting it back. So empowered with knowledge, I’m limiting how deep I go on my squats so I do not stress my knees. I have no pain. Let me keep it that way.

Upper body, therefore, is LOTS MORE FUN. I LOVE the variety. I cannot do all the exercises I would like to do. So I make sure I do a good 45 minute balance. And everyday I do CARDIO

I have new music on my ipod. Yep. Over 600 highly rated songs I ripped from my old CDs. Why did it take me so long?! I even have old music from the 30s and 40s ripped from Grampa’s old music—R.I.P. It makes me smile. I discovered a new artist –Beth Hart—and bought a bunch of her CDs. She a rocker and is better than Janis Joplin. Just so you know my taste—my other favorite female artists are Mama Cass and Linda Ronstadt.

Gotta go shower.

    Whooo! Good for you (upper body), not so good for your lower body:-( sorry about your knee, that can really put a damper on things. I worked legs yesterday and it was great! I've found that I'm liking my upper body more also, I guess I'm liking it all. A first for me. Usually I'm legs only but now I'm all around and loving abs! Have a good one!
