    I know it seems like it takes so much longer to lose the weight, and it's so much easier to gain, but I actually did the math and figured out in the past 10 years I think I've averaged a weight gain of 14 pounds a YEAR. I've lost 13 pounds in less than 2 months. So in reality, I think if we think of it that way, most of us are capable of losing the weight faster than we put it on. It's just that we put it on over the course of decades, and then as soon as we start eating right and exercising, we want it to disappear in a flash! emoticon

By the way, I remember you saying you've had a thousand "day ones" because you would keep starting over....well, you've made it past day one and you're still going!!!!! emoticon

  You're doing AWESOME! I know that when it is a long road to a recovery, sometimes it difficult to keep the end results up front as a reminder. I experience that also.     WTG for filling up ur day with things instead of doing nothing or snacking. I find it very easy to munch or sit around.... i try to do as much as possible. Although i am addicted to this site and i find myself on here a good portion of the day.
I have to agree with u, it seems so easy to put on the weight, i can gain 3-4 lbs in a weekend!!! Just 3 days , if i dont watch what i eat! But then it takes 2 weeks to burn off the lbs i gained in the week, its insanity and frustrating.
The important thing is to not give up, and thats the biggest thing ive learned with being on this site, its so easy just give up. Like a dog putting ur tail between ur legs and not return for being ashamed of yourself , but thats not the way to go. Seems like your on an amazing journey to health! Kudos to u! im proud of u! Keep up the good work!

    X..Fear and faith can not live in the same body and it sounds as if you have overcome your fear and went into the kitchen anyway. You should be proud of yourself for getting up and working through the fear. Great start! Keep it up!
