Day 15 of the 17 day diet

Here we are coming up to the home stretch. I've already hit my goal and I'm just trying to get another pound or two to give me some wiggle room while I'm up camping. I maintained today but I'm not upset about it. My body has been through a lot! I hope my body appreciates all of the salmon I've been eating. Salmon...tons of broccoli this week... salads galore....stuff thats so good for me! Can't say I feel any different on the outside, but I'm sure my insides feel different! Hopefully I've got my triglycerides heading for the hills!

So, this might be my last blog about my diet. My darling husband might be coming home a day early (TOMORROW!) instead of Wednesday so we'll be super busy getting ready for our trip. He's really cutting it close! I'm really excited to see him. He has no idea how much I've lost. He knows I've been on the diet though so he's probably suspecting. I hope he can see a difference. And not just the "I'm being polite because I know you've been on a diet and I really should tell you that you look thinner" - but really sees a difference. He's pretty good at honest praise so I'll take his word for it. Well....I've got a huge craving for something sweet so I'm going to head to bed to try to ignore it.

    Well, enjoy your husband's return and I'm pretty sure he's going to notice! Just try to maintain while you're on your trip and remember your body is going to react like a sponge to all the food you put in your mouth - so be careful 'cause you don't want to put all your work to waste.

  How much did you lose? What was your favorite part of the 17-day diet? I'm interested in looking into it but would like a little more information. I know you're busy right now but later after things slow down and you're in a place where you have some time, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks and congrats!
