I ruined my good weekend streak!!!

Monday, August 15, 2011

I ruined my good weekend streak! emoticon Fri. evening I baked a cake and snacked on it all day Sat. and Sun. We also ended up ordering out from the pizza shop for dinner on Sat. and lunch on Sun. and I did not make good food choices. emoticon To top it all of I did not get in any exercise over the weekend. And trust me this all showed on the scale when i weighed myself this morning. emoticonBut on a good note I got up this morning and did a 15min. ab workout, then I went to the gym for a 60min. cycling class, and then followed that up with 15min. in the weight room. emoticon So here is to a wonderful healthy week!!! emoticon

Hopefully I do better this next weekend, but it's going to be a tough one it's my husbands birthday and we are going camping with my family. emoticon I just have to remember how crappy I feel when I make bad choices and hopefully that will be enough to keep me on track.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!!! emoticon

It's ok!!!!! No matter what, you are on the right track.

You are going camping????!!!!! Awesome! Camping usually includes some hiking- that will help out! If not, a few strolls around the campground will work too. Have a good time on your trip!

One of the reasons emoticon is the fact that it includes falls and knowledge of recovery from them. Enjoy your 4-day weekend without the stress of achieving perfection. You can always get back on track and continue your journey.

On our way to perfection, every day life gets in the way... So, we take the days we don't do so well along with all the days when we do our very best and we find the balance.

As long as you don't eat cake as the meal for every meal, you can get back on track in no time. And, look what you did this morning. So, go easy on yourself, sistah!

Hey - don't beat yourself up. The weekend is over and you sound like you are right back on track today!

Take some almonds and apples with you this weekend. These are usually my go to healthy snacks!

Good for you for not letting 2 days off track turn into 3 or 4 days off track! Good luck next weekend, and have fun camping!

Hey, the main thing was that you woke up and made today better!! It's ok to let yourself go as long as it moderate and you don't continue to binge. You are living and learning!!

Pizza is one of my weaknesses too. I love it. It was just one weekend and you are already back on plan.

Don't beat yourself up - everyone slips now and then, but you've used it to motivate yourself to get back on track and make healthier choices in challenging situations. Have a plan in place for the camping trip, and enjoy the birthday cake in moderation.

Good luck this weekend -- celebrations are hard times to stay healthy, but I know you'll do it! If you're going camping, might I suggest trail mix? Lots of trail mix.
