So, I have a feeling this is going to be a bad week at Weight Watchers. There has been a lot of eating out, two parties yesterday, and our town's Ribfest (ohhhh don't ask
) this weekend. Activity levels have been pretty good, but I don't know if there's been enough to counteract the bad food decisions. Guess we'll find out on Tuesday night.
We've made some interesting decisions in the past week in terms of our fitness and training - good decisions, but a bit scary. We're registering for a 5k run in September not too far from home, and then a 10k run in November. More importantly, and more terrifyingly, we are planning on doing the Toronto Women's Half-Marathon next May. Jaime has stitched together this crazy marathon training program that amps up from 5k to 10k, to half marathon, to *gulp* marathon (yes, we're looking at one of those for next fall) - it's a mix of C25K, Bridge to 10k, and a couple of other systems I don't really know but that look good.
I'm excited, but nervous. I can't believe we're doing this. I can't believe this is us.
