I wanted to tackle the full 1/2 marathon distance this morning. I managed it fine except I should have brought some food with me. When I got home, my daughter made me a recovery smoothy with mango and yogurt, which was delicious. Now I am relaxing and enjoying the air conditioning.
I think I will be able to do the 1/2 marathon okay at the Army run in Ottawa in about a month, but I wish I was running more. I am cross training though, so that is good.
