Well, school is coming really quickly for my children. It has been a really fun summer with them, now that they are getting a little older. We spent countless times at the pool, and doing things pretty close to home. My daughters will be starting a brand new school this year that focuses on Environmental Education, so they get to go on campouts (something that I did with that very same school as a child), so they are super geared up for this year!
I am ready, but not so ready for the routine that we about to get into next week. My stomach has butterflies for my girls, as I am just as excited for them, as they are about going. I don't think that my son has realized that by next Wednesday, we will be going from sleeping till 9, to getting up at 7. That's going to be quite the rude awakening! Haha!
There are things that I am ready for, as we jump back into our school year and they are as follows...
-Starting my projects around the home (that are better done when there aren't little hands getting in the middle, like painting).
-Getting back into my workout routine (since I won't have to fight over my tv that I am doing it on).
-Getting more sleep, and making it more of a priority (as I know that the lack there of, can have a wicked effect on weight loss).
-Taking in more "me" time, and doing things that I love (and hate, like going to the grocery store without 3 kiddos in tow).
I am looking forward to just getting back into things...I am sooo close to OneDerland that I can taste it, I just need to push myself and not let any excuses get into the way.
Thanks to all of my SparkBuddies that are helping me along in my journey. I couldn't have made it this far (21.5lbs lost since I started all of this in 2008), without you! Glad we are all on this "ride" together! Makes it all that much more enjoyable and interesting!
