Once Upon a Sorry...
Wednesday, August 10, 2011
Hi everyone! So sorry I haven't been on here supporting you through your challenges. I have not even attempted my goals. Hubby has been off work and bedridden since April. they took him off the payroll in May and off our insurance plan since June 1st. It's been crazy-crazy. The union has fought to get his job back but the company is standing their ground saying that Hubby QUIT his job. The case will go to arbitration, which will take many months. We we forced to file with Job and Family services and now have food, medical and financial support through them. Hubby had just received all this good news last week. Initially, we had to find a new surgeon, because the one who did his other two back surgeries is no longer on our insurance list. But since we got on medicaid we tried again and they accept ONLY that medicaid card. So he has his first appointment near the end of this month. Woohoo. Pray everything goes well....red tape, xrays, and proper diagnosis and treatment.
Since we are on food assistance, it will be easy to get the healthy food we need. So....it will undoubtably be my fault if I have not dropped a pound come Christmas. lol It's already my fault anyway......... smile. If I have learned anything through Spark...it's where to place the blame. wink.
It's hard for me to keep up with all this. I am on Facebook, if anyone wants to contact me there. I see that some of you have not been able to get through to my email : email@example.com . I think I need to reload my mail thing, but no one in this house knows how to do it! I get mail from all kinds of other people, though. Hmm.
Anyway, the kids, extended family and I are all well currently. It's just Hubski that we are focused on right now. I'm in charge of errands, gardening, childcare and home educating, etc. so my plate is rather full. I was trying to start a card business called Simply Joyful Christian Stationery, Books and Whatnot...but I'm not so sure I'll be able to get it up off the ground without too much hassle with taxes etc. I'm trying to keep it simple, but they should don't let you! Anyway, I'm either busy or tired, but God has provided this ENTIRE 4 months. It is almost unbelievable that we still have everything! Please give God (as in Jesus Christ) the glory for His wonderful loving provision through fellow Christians and family and friends and 'coincidences'. wink.
I'll talk to you more later,
Kid corner: We were watching the Muppet Movie and Maggie, 6, declared: "This movie is TOO funny for me." smile.
