Wow! It's been three years since I started on SP.
What's changed? Some, a lot, nothing, kinda....
My lifestyle has changed a lot...I walk everyday. I'm more active in general. I DPS (drink, pee, squat) several times a day (ya had to have been there). I "march" while making copies, I park further away from the door, I try...
I drink a lot more water than I ever did and I used to drink more water than many people around me.
Unfortunately, my eating habits have slid back. I have to recommit to eating better. I snack too much and not on the right kinds of things.
One thing that has not changed is my commitment to encouraging and supporting others. If I can help just one person a day, feel better about themselves, their life, their situation, then I've served a purpose.
I'm not perfect. There have been sooooo many major changes in my life in the last three years...turned 50, been married 30 years to my best friend, oldest moved back home, gave us a grandson, still living with us and providing joy daily, court battle with "SD" and continuing hassles over child support and parenting time, youngest graduated and enlisted in the Marines, provides pride and honor daily, OohRah!!! Semper Fi!!! Sometimes I am not the nicest person to those I love the most. But still, I try!
So, I will continue to try and be the best person I can be and will strive to be better than I am.
To all of you on this journey with me, thanks for your support and encouragement. Please continue, don't ever quit, failure is not an option.
