A new week!

My weekend was not a very eventful weekend nor was it a very successful. I managed to miss my work out Sunday, but I am not going to let that get me down today!
I started my weekend with a 30 minute run that felt amazing! I have to keep running to a maximum of 30-35 mins and three times a week. I have no interest in injuries or flaring up my knee problems. Matthew (boyfriend) had a meeting at the township center for his soccer team that he coaches and they have a trail there so I ran during that and managed to get just under 3 miles. I am not a very fast runner and I am okay with that. Plus it was over 95 and very sticky out! The bad part was we did not get home till almost 9 and I was starving! So we just made a quick veggie patty!
Saturday, we hiked! We did a total of 11 miles and boy were my legs stiff the next day! I love hiking. It is hands down my favorite thing in the world to do. This has been a passion of mine for over 15plus years. If I could do it every day I would, rain or shine! There is nothing better! I like it when it’s cold, hot, summer, winter, spring or fall! I ate okay for the entire day, but I invited my Brother and Sister in-law or for Vegetarian Shish Kabobs and opened up a bottle of wine and drank WAY WAY WAY too much! I felt like such crap on Sunday, that I did not exercise the entire day and ate just dumb food! Stupid Hangovers!
So now it’s Monday and I am ready to kick some butt this week! Goals for this week, exercise more! I should be getting my new Charlene Extreme this week so that should be a fun way to get my goals in!
I also am going to be coming up with new strategies for sticking to a plan over the weekends!
