I have pretty much settled into working as a voice over actor recording audio books, auditions, demos and podcasts in my home studio. As I stated in my last blog (wow it was in December 2010!) I have to do the recording when it is quiet in the neighborhood. That quiet time has changed from between 2 AM and 7 AM to between 1:00 and 6:00 during the summer months. So, I've become a night person. I, now, find that I must sometimes go to bed as early as 6 PM if I want to get in any quality recording time. Sticking to an eating ande exercising schedule has been hard and I have gained about 7 pounds.
There have been rewards, however. I have recorded two books for a publisher out of LA and I am getting good reviews regarding my podcasts (for AIRS-LA). I am in the process of recording a new book and am in negotiations with a publisher to do another. Recently, I had a book published. So, now, I am trying to get back on track with the weight loss and exercising. Wish me luck.
