Towel throwing as a sport

Sunday, August 07, 2011

Why does everything happen in the summer? I completed my last Operation Flabby Bottom Mission last week. OFBM is the game plan I use for all the conventions-4 convention in 4 months. Now I am ready to enjoy summer. Iíll take those long walks by the river, read a book on the porch. Iíll enjoy feeling the sun on my back at the beach- now that I am not embarrassed to go to the beach
While I havenít been as diligent with my diet as I would have like Ė I wasnít that bad either. I havenít gained any weight back. . So now I have to get back on the bandwagon and get rid of those last 30 pounds. Only 30 pounds to lose that seem impossible.
There was a time when if I didnít lose all my weight I would felt like a failure. Now it more important to me to keep what Iíve lost off. It is more important to me not to throw in the towel-especially not a beach towel.

Great way to alter your perception and enjoy life while you're doing it. I still get stuck in the self-defeating trap of "I can't do A/B/C/D or F UNTIL I've lost the weight."

I really enjoyed your blog! I like your way of thinking, it is important to keep off what we have lost, even while we are continuing our journey! Whatever you have lost makes you a winner and when you get to your goal you get the prize! Good luck to you.
