My fiance has already done his first marathon, and since I'll be there anyway for his half-marathon in 2 months, I signed myself up to run the 5k. Yikes! But I've started the Couch to 5k program, and it's not too bad so far. I need to increase my frequency and hurry up and recover from a sprained ankle so I can get off the elliptical and onto the treadmill and then to the actual road, but the intensity of the workouts are awesome! I can run for a minute when you give me 90 seconds to rest in between! It gets more intense as you go, so that works for me!
