We received a call this afternoon and Jeff will start the chemo and radiation on Monday the eighth.. It seems as though it has been a long time coming. It was four months ago that he was diagnosed. I praise the Lord that the show is finally gtting on the road. No journey ever starts with out going th first mile. We took a long time geting that first mile done, but now we are ready to begin the rest of the journey.
I have kept busy again today. I finished scraping the garage floor, painted the ceiling, and took a brightwhite paint and did around the door coming into the huse. It looked so good that it made the door look dingy, so I painted the door also. The trim and the doorhave only the first coats on them, but I qut out there for the day. Need to get a little done here in the house. Did fix Jeff a good dinner. I fixed rice and chicken and mushroom soup. The chicken I had to shred up pretty fine, but he said it all tasted good. I didn't eat because I had eaten two great big pieces of cantaloupe earlier and I am not hungry. I am more thirsty than usual. That is probably due to the fact that I turned of the air today and opened the house up to the fresh air. Did get little toasty this afternoon and had to close the big door in the garage so I was doing a lot of sweating.
That is it folks. I thank you all for being there. You will never know how very grateful I am for eachand everyone of you.
May the Lord bless and keep you safe.
