The wonders of water!!

Hi sisters,

I haven't been able to blog for a while because of a super busy schedule. I went to serve in Scranton PA, had a wonderful time. Came back super pumped for the DC invitation campaign. It's amazing to the Hindustani log (people) - (pronounced loag, sort of like load) that this is a free event for three days completely in Hindi. Sirf Parmeshvar Yahovah. (only Jehovah God)

Have continued to lose weight. Healthy choices is the absolute reason. Plus, the wonders of drinking water!! It's absolutely amazing. I have learned that the requirement for weight loss for my body is 3 liters a day. As long as I drink 3 liters a day and watch my calories, I lose weight.

I used to think that other people had this magic plan on how they lost weight. But what I'm realizing is that they simply learned what their body needed to let go of the weight and burn more efficiently. So, I've learned to drink 3 liters a day. My next lesson is learning exactly what types of foods my body "likes" that help it to lose weight.

I don't have to starve myself. But not every food is good for my body. I found that when I drink milk, I gain. I gain even if I have milk in my coffee. So I've learned to drink my coffee without milk. I do take calcium supplements though.

I also tried Lactaid, I figured, it has little fat, should not gain right? Wrong. Gained a few ounces after I had Lactaid in my cereal and in my coffee. OK. I do without that.

Probably after I reach my goal, I'll add milk back in. But for now, the cow has to wait, so that I don't look like a cow!! LOL!!

I can have a buttered roll, in the morning, and still lose weight!! Amazing! I don't have it every morning, but when I want it, I have it. (once a week for right now)

Education about my body is important in this process. This works for me. Other folks have to learn their bodies "secret" to weight loss.

Enough about me! I hope your scale is moving in the right direction and you can find out the "secret" (raz in Hindi) for your body.

    I feel so much better when I drink plenty of water each day. I am the same way with milk. I love it, and it loves me. I don't like where it decides to "sit". lol

Congrats on finding what works for you and even more important, sticking with it!
