Are you prepared for the challenges of tomorrow? Have you thought about how you will handle them?
When my daughter was growing up I spent a lot of time what-if-ing and deciding how I would react should those situations arise. Because of that time spent in contemplation and preparation I was ready for each of those times. And let me tell you, pretty much every situation I what-if-ed about came to pass.
Have you what-if-ed? What if your car breaks down on the way to pick up the kids? What if your husband says he wants a divorce? What if your mother-in-law sticks her noise in your business, AGAIN? What if your kid flunks math, AGAIN? What if the baby is crying and won't stop? What if the doctor has a bad report for you? What will you do? Will you reach for the Twinkie and the Coke or will you choose to sip a glass of ice water while you unravel your feelings and weigh your options. It really does work for the big stuff. Now if I could just figure out how to keep from walking into the kitchen for a cupcake every couple of hours!
Hope you are having a blessed day.
