August 2011 and I make my 36th GOYAAM PLAN
I've not been very active here for months due to all sorts of "stuff" happening in my life. This should not have interfered with my logging onto Spark - but it did. Still - I made my GOYAAM plans monthly and made some halfhearted attempts to follow them too, but failed to stick to them consistently.
The only thing I have managed to keep up and keep track of is my two-day rule. I guess I kind of burned out on the tracking for a while. And I guess I really need SP and GOYAAM to keep myself consistent when "life" happens.
Instead of beating myself up about my moderate weight gain and general slacking off, I intend to take a step back and make a foolproof fast-track plan that I know I can follow, even when life gets in the way. I also joined our GOYAAM challenge for August just to dip my toe into the consistency pool again and get a good momentum going on the tracking and get and give support to other team members.
Fitness: Weekly at least 210 min (30 min/day)
2 ST + 3 cardio
Food: Eat sensibly and eat colorfully. Get fiber. Quick track 2L water, 5 veg&fruit. No unhealthy snacks on weekdays. (No tracking food yet!)
Team: Huddle or post on GOYAAM or member blogs daily.
Attitude: Be kind to yourself. Sleep & meditate.
My mid-term goal is to get back to my low from last year. The moderate gain of 15-20 pounds is because I have slacked off tracking food and need to restart food tracking (and fitness) on SP!
Because I know it works!
I CAN AND I WILL! HELL YEAH!
